Little girl opens up to mom about kids teasing her about her hair
All parents should teach their kids about kindness.
Being a parent can be super difficult at times. It requires us to have to indulge in the fact that someday we have to accept that someone might hurt our kids.
And that can just break a person.
The realisation that we cannot always be there to protect our kids from pain is daunting, but it doesn't mean we cannot be there to pick them up and help them heal.
An impromptu example of this was caught on video when a mother was doing a hair tutorial for her young daughter.
Whilst she was videoing her daughter, she became quite emotional and told her mom that everyone was teasing her at school.
When mom asked why, the young girl, who has beautiful curly hair, reveals that they teased her about her hair. Mom delved for more information and the young girl revealed that they said her hair looked like leaves.

Mom manages to comfort her and tells her that she has beautiful curly hair.

Ironically, the video helped many others who shared their stories of being bullied over their hair.
All in all, mom shared it to encourage parents to teach their kids kindness. If someone doesn't have the same hair as you or looks different, it doesn't mean that they should be teased.
Imagine what a beautiful world we would live in if we all taught our kids to be kind to one another and, most importantly, we act with kindness.
