How do you feel when you see parents reacting negatively at the gender reveal parties?

Should expectant parents just be glad that they are having a healthy baby, or should gender preference be normalised?
Gender reveal parties are all the rage on social media, expectant parents are usually happy to share their big news with their families... and the rest of the world.
But sharing your reactions with the world can have its disadvantages. For one, this personal moment is seen by thousands, if not millions, of people, each judging you for your reaction to the big news.
This happened to a young couple who shared their gender reveal on social media.
The two sat in their backyard, cutting into the white cake with champagne flutes.
Before revealing the colour of the cake inside, the woman asked her partner what gender he hoped for, and he just shrugged his shoulders. She then looked at the camera and said she hoped for a girl.
When the blue cake filling was revealed, indicating it was a boy, she let out a scream and started crying. Naturally, anyone would think it was tears of joy, but it was far from a joyful cry.

Many social media users were angry with her reaction. They specifically speculated about how her son might feel one day when he sees this reaction video on the internet.
It's a tricky one because others also said that they felt she should be grateful that she can have a child and focus on his health and well-being.
