‘This is my ultimate African Dream’ – Vicky Sampson on Ndlovu Youth Choir

Vicky Sampson explained to Jacaranda FM’s Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp the joy she felt when she heard the Ndlovu Youth Choir sing ‘African Dream’.
"This is next level! You know how much I believe in the African dream. The Ndlovu Youth Choir is the future. They are the new tomorrow that I’m singing about in that song," Vicky Sampson explained to Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp.

The youth choir travelled to America to take part in 'America's Got Talent'. The choir wowed the whole world and received four yeses from the judges! They sang Vicky Sampson’s ‘African Dream’, a song that became one of the most recognisable songs in South Africa after its release in 1994.
Simon Cowell gave the youth choir a standing ovation and we couldn’t be more proud!
An emotional Sampson continued: "Young people are taking the torch and carrying it."

Last year, the Ndlovu Youth Choir joined Breakfast with Martin Bester for a Friday Live performance ahead of SPAR Carols By Candlelight. The choir sang the Zulu version of Ed Sheeran's 'Perfect'.
