Not so little anymore! Grade 7 boys tower over teacher

Ncaw, Grade 7 pupils are shoulder to shoulder with their teacher in a friendly 'standoff'.

It is inspiring to see how teachers use social media to spread love and positivity in the world of learning. Most importantly, they are breaking the stigmas around teaching.
Many people believe that teaching is supposed to be rigid and strict. Maintaining authority and respect is necessary for many teachers who want to adopt a specific persona in front of their students.
Teachers do this because some students can be troublesome and make things difficult for them.
But we see an increase in educators who show how a relaxed and lighthearted approach to teaching has won many students' hearts.
A grade 7 teacher, Meneer van der Berg, shared a video showing how some of his male learners might be young at heart, but taller than he is.
The video has been watched over two million times.
He said people say, "The boys are just little kids in primary school." His response was to show them how many of his male learners were his height or taller.
It was fun to see how some young men, who may have been taller than Meneer van der Berg, feared looking him in the eye. One or two were brazen enough to look down at him as they stood up, but it was more lighthearted than disrespectful.
Many people asked what the kids were eating, and some even jokingly asked if Meneer van der Berg was married.
