Pregnancy announcement on plane has people confused

What looked like a sweet pregnancy announcement seems to have conjured up some online hate for the lengths influencers go to create content.

Many social media users openly share their beef with content creators or influencers who go above and beyond when creating their content.

While it appeals to some of their followers, it can sometimes be over-the-top and extreme. We thought that a video of an expecting mama sharing her news with her husband during a flight was sweet and original, but not everyone was on the same page.

In this video, we see a woman recording herself seated in the plane next to her husband. She quickly shows off her positive pregnancy test.

Sitting in the aisle seat, her husband is more concerned about the pilot's announcement. The pilot says the woman didn't pay for an extra seat, yet brought along a third passenger.

The husband gets riled up, and like most social media videos, we are unsure if his reaction is genuine or staged.

Nevertheless, in the end, he realises they will be parents and rejoices with his wife. While the video was sweet, the person who shared it didn't share the same sentiments. Instead, they highlighted that there are "flight cabins” for influencers to film this content.

Many people in the comments shared how this would've frustrated them had they been on the delayed flight.

One user said: "I would have been pissed we have already waited an hour to take off and now pulling this ....now and if I miss my connecting flight ✈️ I'm really got to be mad."

Another said: "I wish people could care about their personal life and privacy one day. No one cares about the baby or your personal life. Have a bit privacy people.🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ You wasted the time and life of thousand people."

A third person added: "You delayed a plane 1 hour just to announce your pregnancy? That's really low."
