South Africa's gold win at the Dance World Cup 2025
Proof that we are constantly stepping with the right foot...
South Africa is on a winning streak, and we are here for it. Just a few weeks ago, our national cricket team, the Proteas, was crowned World Test Champions after winning their first major cricket trophy in 27 years in London on Saturday, 14 June.
Social media has been abuzz with news of another win. Our South African dancers won gold in the street dance category at the Dance World Cup 2025 in Burgos, Spain.
The senior street dance group won gold in one of the most competitive categories at the Dance World Cup. Their epic dance routine was electrifying.

The senior street dance group waited patiently to hear the winners and one of the dancers, Lebo shared a video of their reaction on TikTok.

It was fun to see the responses from fellow South Africans who felt it was a no-brainer that our dancers won, considering South Africans have dance in their DNA.
The Dance World Cup is considered the Olympics for dancers. It brings together dancers from 60 countries worldwide.
The Dance World Cup continues until 12 July, and we are certain that the South African team is still in high spirits as they celebrate their win.
