It has been said that a key sign to depression is an untidy household. It is not a professional confirmation as far as we know, but it is a sign that many people who are suffering depression have experienced.
In this case, it was noticed by a woman who is in the business of cleaning.
Her name is Auri and she is a video creator who captures her extreme cleaning moments and shares it online.
One of her videos was shared recently about a man who was having a hard time after the passing of his father.
And so he neglected his home and stopped cleaning. You don't realise the need and importance of cleaning until you stop.
Cleaning can be extremely therapeutic for some people, for others is can be a physical manifestation of what they are going through mentally.

It is sad to see what depression can do to a person.
But it is also empowering to see how people can come together to help depressed people pick up the pieces and regain control over their realities.
This woman, Auri, is one such person providing people with a new lease on life. One of the stories she shared was an appeal made by a daughter who reached out to her for help.
She said that the father shared that he didn't realise how dirty their home was until he saw it clean. And cried when he saw his home clean, saying it was a miracle.
