Woman sends her ex 1000 onions for cheating on her

We've seen chopped roses and burnt clothing, but onions are a first...

Many things go through the mind of a woman (or man) scorned. While each one might choose to do things differently when plotting their revenge on an ex-lover, both genders can be equally petty.

Therefore, anyone is capable of petty revenge acts regardless of their age or gender. Let's take things back to 2020, when a Chinese woman made the headlines after her revenge involved tonnes of onions.

The woman, known as Ms. Zhao, told the press that she was heartbroken after her boyfriend dumped her. The two were dating for just over a year, and it was alleged that he cheated on her.

After crying for three days, Ms. Zhao moved on to the next stage of her grieving: anger and revenge. The spark of anger came after she heard from friends that he was not upset or hurt by their breakup.

This caused her to devise the most outrageous plan.

"She ordered a tonne of red onions to be delivered to her ex-boyfriend's front door with a note that read: 'I've cried for three days, now it's your turn,'" reported the Daily Mail.

According to the Daily Mail, she instructed the delivery driver not to contact her ex-boyfriend. Instead, she wanted the driver to unload the onions at his doorstep. It took the driver four hours to offload all the onions.

Check out a picture from X that shows the ex-boyfriend making the discovery.

Ms. Zhao was very intentional when choosing her vegetable revenge act. She decided on the onions because she wanted her ex-boyfriend to cry as much as she did. But sadly for her, the onions didn't make him cry, but did leave a stench...

Ms Zhao's ex-boyfriend later told Shandong Net that he broke up with her due to her 'over-the-top behaviours'.

"My ex-girlfriend was very dramatic. She is telling everyone I haven't shed one tear since our break-up. Am I a bad person for simply not crying?"

Sending tonnes of onions to her ex's front door didn't work in her favour. It undeniably added to his claims of her 'over-the-top behaviours'.
