Would you dare to try this homemade flu bomb shot?

Health and wellness coaches swear by using all-natural remedies to recover from colds and flu. A mother who follows a holistic lifestyle tried a homemade recipe to cure her family from the flu.
The Spring weather has brought a mishmash of weather patterns, which was, to some extent, expected.
The inconsistent weather patterns have created the perfect setting for colds and flu, which is never ideal when kids just return to their last term of school and you have the last quarter of the year to consider.
Many have shared their experiences switching to more holistic and natural wellness practices. We found a video of a woman sharing a concoction that sounded pretty potent. She got the recipe from Barbara O'Neill, a trained nurse who delved into the workings of natural medicine when mainstream medicine was not working for her child.
It included garlic, ginger, cayenne pepper, honey, and lemon.

Regarding holistic or natural concoctions, it pays to note that following this lifestyle involves several factors.
Like anything new you are undertaking regarding your health, speak to a healthcare professional. We found this recipe interesting because of the natural capabilities of each ingredient, but if you are ill, please consult your GP because the strains of flu are all different and can be harsh on your immunity.
Garlic is known for its antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties. It is an excellent ingredient for fighting infections, flu, and colds. It also supports immunity and stimulates the production of white blood cells.
Ginger is often known as a key ingredient in fighting the flu, as in our grandmother's Ginger Milk recipe, for instance. It contains properties that help with inflammation, soothe sore throats, and relieve muscle pain.
Lemons contain Vitamin C, which has long been associated with fighting colds and flu. It is also known to be soothing and help with congestion.
Not many people think of using Cayenne Pepper during their cold or flu, but it helps clear nasal passages and reduce congestion.
Honey soothes the throat and contains natural antimicrobial properties, which help fight off flu bacteria and viruses.
Barbara O'Neill has gained much love on the internet, sharing her all-natural remedies to healthcare. She believes that the body was designed to heal itself.
