What would you say to a morning without coffee?

If you are anything like us, you would say, 'No thank you'. Coffee and its refreshing aroma bring light to our busy mornings and most people won't go a day without its goodness.

But what if we told you that there is a speciality coffee in Asia that isn't made in the most conventional of ways? Would you be willing to try this unusual brew?

According to TheCoffeeGuru.net, "Kopi Luwak coffee is a unique and rare coffee variety produced from beans that have been eaten and passed through the digestive system of a civet, which imparts a distinct flavour profile and aroma to the coffee."

Yes, you read correctly, the coffee bean is eaten by a civet, an animal which looks like a mongoose or meerkat. The coffee beans, once ingested, get fermented while inside the civet and once it is passed out as a stool, it is brewed into drinkable coffee.

Check out this video of a content creator visiting Bali, Indonesia who decided to visit a local coffee shop to try this specialty coffee.

Due to the labour-intensive process of harvesting Kopi Luwak Coffee, the price is quite high.

"This coffee costs up to $1,300 per kilogram. There’s a high demand and low supply, further increasing the price." (YourDreamCoffee)

That's around R25,000. So, if it's in high demand our question to you is, would you drink this coffee?
