Young boy sells lemonade to pay for his medical bills

It's stories like these that leave us feeling humbled.
For most kids, the idea of making money isn't something that is a necessity.
But for others, it is a means to help their parents with something important. A way for them to help lessen the burden or stress that they believe their parents are dealing with.
However, not all children have this ability. The ability to notice that their parents are stressed.
So when you see a child who does, best believe that he is super special and deserves for the world to know his story.
This young boy's story is heartbreaking yet inspiring. Teddy Counihan, an eleven-year-old boy from Georgia, USA, was riding his bike around his area and was hit by a car.
He sustained serious injuries; a skull fracture, broken tibia and fibula, and road rash. All this happened just a few months after he lost his mother.
"Teddy's injuries combined with rehabilitation and surgeries mean he hasn't been able to spend his summer riding around on his bike, and with medical bills racking up he decided to begin a new venture." (Unilad)

The young boy came up with an idea to sell lemonade outside his home to passersby. The news of his lemonade stand has reached many community members.
And his family has even started a GoFundMe page to help raise funds to pay off his medical bills.
It was not confirmed as to whether Teddy and his family have medical insurance to help reduce the costs of his bills.
But the GoFundMe page has raised $19,838 and the target is $40,000.
