Emotions run high as colourblind man sees colours for the first time
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
We're not going to lie - we became a little heavy in the throat while watching this.

This is beautiful!
Imagine being colourblind your whole life and then one day you put on a simple pair of glasses and everything changes? Well, for one man, that has become a reality.
This came after the man received a pair of special glasses from EnChroma. As you can imagine, seeing colours properly after living for 50 years without any understanding of colour will likely garner a memorable reaction. So, when Chris Smelcer popped on his new EnChroma glasses, his family decided to film his experience, and it's extremely heartwarming.
"Oh my god," Smelcer says after dropping his jaw.
When someone points out the colour pink, Smelcer appears to be confused. The man also becomes shocked as he is able to see the colour blue in his pair of jeans.
By the end of the video, Smelcer is in tears. As the man becomes very emotional, the clip ends. It really makes you appreciate something that most people take for granted every day.
