This moving animation tells the story of a crippled dog

The same can be said for crippled animals. A beautiful short film, titled ‘The Present’, tells the story of a crippled dog that is rejected by its owner, purely because of its disability.

The dog, brought to the boy by his mother as a present, is not only rejected, but even thrown to the floor and constantly pushed away by the boy, who is sitting on his couch, playing video games. But the beautiful thing is, despite being rejected, the dog keeps on showing interest in its owner, showing him that being crippled does not define who he is.
Finally, the boy decides to open his heart and give the dog a chance. However, the interesting thing is, the boy himself is disabled, making them have something in common. The two finally becomes friends.
