Golden Retrievers holding eggs in their mouths is the best thing you will see today
Updated | By The Workzone with Barney Simon
Golden Retrievers are known for delicately carrying various objects in their mouths. Pet owners on the internet tested the theory, with adorable results.
Golden Retrievers are loyal, obedient dogs who can come in very handy around the house. True to their name, these dogs are skilled in picking up and transporting various things safely and delicately in their mouths.
Pet owners on the internet decided to demonstrate their dogs' special skills in the #GoldenRetrieverEggChallenge, where they trained their Retrievers to carry one uncooked egg in their mouths without breaking it. Pet technician Carrie DoComb's dog Sookie held onto the egg very tightly indeed:
my aunt read online that a golden retriever’s mouth is so gentle they can hold an egg in their mouth without cracking it so she tried it on her dog and well pic.twitter.com/6SDyUI3v4j

Sookie can certainly be trusted to keep things safe!

It seems the challenge has been going on for a few years. Here is a video of a retriever guarding an egg in 2016:

People wondered if this special skill could be taught to other dogs?
Has anyone tried that egg challenge on a dog that is not a golden retriever?? Would like to see the results
