As tributes keep pouring in for all for all the victims of the devastating attack in Nice during Bastille Day celebrations, Google has announced that it will be offering free calls to France.
At least 80 people have died following the terrorist attack that took place in Nice, Androidcentral reported. In a bid to help people stay connected with their loved ones, Google is offering free Hangouts, Google Voice and Project Fi calls to the country.
“To all those affected by the attack in Nice, you’re in our thoughts. To help people stay informed and connected with their loved ones, we're making calls to France from Hangouts, Google Voice and Project Fi, free — from anywhere in the world those services are supported,” Google said.
Google is not the only ones who are offering free calls. AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile have also announced free calls, Vindy reported.
