Piers Morgan blasts girl's Taylor Swift impersonation

Kids love to imitate their heroes and in most cases it’s very sweet to witness. But what happens when the impersonation involves them taking off their clothes, putting lipstick on, and doing some sexy moves?

Seven-year-old Xiamara Vigor may have sent the audience wild with excitement on the 'Your Face Sounds Familiar' talent show, but one man, Piers Morgan, was definitely not impressed. Morgan told Good Morning Britain that it’s “sexualisation” of young girls.

“It’s not cute. I don’t like it. It just means million of young girls want to be slapping on makeup and lipstick and all that. It’s just not right, I don’t like it. Sorry. I think you got to be careful. The trouble with social media now is these things go viral and then millions and millions of young girls watch that and want to be that kid, and before you know it, you have that look now for every seven-year-old girl one the world,” the TV star said.

However, the seven-year-old’s father doesn’t seem to agree with Morgan.

Alan Vigor told Daily Mail: “He's wrong. He doesn't understand the context. The culture here is very, very different. People in the Philippines see things differently. On the show net week, Xia is going to dress up as Axl rose. It's like a pantomime. It's been taken out of context. She's not going a friend's birthday party in high heels and lipstick. It's not like that. She would never dress up like that on a normal day."
