The cars we drive in our youth define us in many ways. Everything from the model of the car to how hard you had to work to pay it off and the trips you took in it all become invaluable memories.

It's no wonder then that people choose to keep these cars long after they have stopped working.

Cam, who is an avid car lover who spends most of his time sourcing parts to rebuild vehicles, considers his grandfather Fred to be his best friend.

He worked hard for seven years to afford the rebuild.

Most people would give anything to relive the best moments from their youth, and that is what makes Cam's gift even more amazing. This is certainly one of the best birthday gifts that Fred has ever received.

What are some of the best memories you made in your first car?
