EFF leader Julius Malema has vowed to disrupt Ramaphosa's speech should he not fire Public Enterprise minister Pravin Gordhan.

However, Majodina says Malema's utterances can be regarded as childish behaviour.

"We cannot promote anarchy in any way. There are a lot of platforms where people can take their grievances but to come and target State of the Nation Address, to do anarchist processes is just out of order."

"What type of a leader will say 'as Ramaphosa speaks, I will speak', I mean that on its own tells you that you have people who are very childish," adds Majodina.

She spoke to JacarandaFM News early on Thursday morning at the parliamentary precinct.

The chief whip says the ANC will rally behind the president and that he has the full support of the governing party.

"There was no meeting that said we are not supporting the president, we do not have confidence in that president."

"He is our president and we must rally behind him, even the SONA and any priorities that are discussed there, they were approved by the NEC," says Majodina.
