Determined entrepreneur Irfan Pardesi is returning to The Sun International  CEO SleepOut™: “I was there in last year’s one as well and this time, I was challenged by someone and so Jacaranda FM contacted me because apparently somebody challenged me again. And this time, it will be more exciting, I’m excited to see it happening on the Nelson Mandela Bridge.”

On the question of an apt soundtrack to carry participants through the night, Irfan reflects: “I think that anything that gathers up the energy for people to continue doing what they’re doing would be great. And something nice and calm and soothing towards the end so that people could end up sleeping, because I’ll tell you what, 20% of the people did not sleep last time, at all!”

ACM Gold’s story spans three continents, and almost a decade of highs and lows. This is the story of how one sibling who paid his way through school, and another who didn’t go to varsity, have built a business with a turnover of R400 million that’s worth more than R3 billion.


Irfan Pardesi is an entrepreneur, an optimist, a globe trotter, a proud father of two and a loving husband (well hopefully). Successful in my own right, a few small exits, a few complete failures, living the life and enjoying the journey.


Always on the lookout for new opportunities and connecting with like minded individuals. Technology does seem to rule our worlds, I still believe in a cup of coffee.
