Development Director of Mott MacDonald's Africa Unit Neresh Pather is no different, as someone that seeks to engineer a better future for young people: "Investing into the youth for tomorrow is what each of the companies need to take on board. I think there’s a lot being done at tertiary level and so on, I think the work that needs to be done at a level in terms of schooling and making sure that we bring good grassroot talent through the system has got to go down to as low a level in terms of our kids.”

On expectations for the night of Thursday the 28th July?: “I’m hoping that through the process we socialise a little bit, we can collaborate further in terms of business and in that collaboration, come up with opportunities for further work.”

Neresh is a professional civil engineer within Mott MacDonald Africa in South Africa.  In addition he serves as the Deputy President of Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA), a voluntary organisation representing approx. 540 consulting companies in South Africa.  Neresh graduated from the University of Natal with a BSc Civil Eng degree in 1992 and in 1996 followed this with a Master’s degree in Transportation, also from the University of Natal (MSc Eng (Transport)).  He has served in various business development, management and directorial roles in the company and now serves the function of developing new business, plotting the business direction and position the business in the markets being served by the Africa Unit.
