Every woman loves a designer handbag, the only problem is it costs a fortune and now a days you never know if what you buying is real or fake.
Bright Side has come up with a useful guide to help you decipher between the real thing and a fake copy.
Always pay attention to the detail
Big brands spend a large amount of time carefully checking each and every item for defects. This means that there should be no loose threads or any other visual defects or imperfections.
Always check the clasps, buttons, and zippers
The key is to check the quality of the metal clasps, buttons, zipper pulls, plates, and locks. They will always be of high quality and either have a number or name printed on them.
Material and brand names
The finer the leather the better the quality, famous brand doesn’t use rough leather.
Always check the name! The name is often misspelt, printed in different fonts or smudgy letters.
Serial numbers and packaging
Serial numbers are impossible to remove from the item with out damaging it, so if you can see that perhaps the serial number is on a piece of paper or glues on then its a definite no no!
Designer items always come in expensive designer packaging. The packaging should have no discolorations or extra items in it.
Do your research
Before visiting a store, try to do a little research on the specific attributes of the chosen brand. Remember that each brand has its very own distinct characteristics.
