Described as "a piece of Paris right here in South Africa,” French Toast Hartbeespoort is definitely a place to pop in when visiting the Hartbeespoort. Specially built as the official ‘Bar’ in the film French Toast, the bar was used as the official premiere venue for the film.
This is a great place also for the lovers who want to tie the knot, as there is a lock bridge and a ‘I love you wall’
Saskia Fine Dining
Situated at the Fusion Boutique Hotel in Polokwane, Saskia Fine Dining is a nice place to go especially if you are with family.
The peaceful surrounding and tranquility allows you to enjoy fine dining to its best and the average meal cost roughly R200,00.
“Pull up a chair. Take a taste. Come join us. Life is so endlessly delicious,” that’s the promise Hazelwood market gives to its visitors and we have to say they do live up to it, because nothing beats the delicious dishes at the market.
The other great thing about it is that you can take your kids along and have them have fun playing on the jungle gym and jumping castle. So if you happen to be in Pretoria or outside Pretoria, but looking for a great time with family, Hazelwood market is definitely the it.
Mash
It’s hip and happening, that’s Mash! The great thing about it is that it offers affordable dishes that will leave you licking your fingers and wishing for some more.

Pilgrim's Rest is an Mpumalanga gem. Shrouded in history and mystery, this small town pays tribute to the Gold Rush and the people who went in search of riches. This is well worth a visit - even if you just want to play dress up and have photos taken in old-school attire. What great fun awaits!

While Johannesburg suburbs like Parkhurst and Melville succeed in creating a buzzing atmosphere, Pretoria has always seemed a bit stuck, with the problem of many restaurants being in malls or lifestyle centres. This has however changed with the launch of The Village in Hazelwood, Pretoria.
If you venture to The Village in Hazelwood you can enjoy a great atmosphere and even better food. We suggest you try out Culture Club for a few tapas and a great vibe.
