Desperate for an education
Updated | By
Parents in the Ga Sako village in Limpopo say almost twenty years after requesting a school, their children are still making the trek to a neighbouring school every day. The bushy terrain, with a bridge to cross, is about a 30 minute walk to and fro. The provincial education department says its not aware of the situation, but parents showed JacarandaFm news documentation dating back to 1997 when they requested a school from education authorities.
