Gauteng celebrates Africa Day

Today, 53 years ago, the organisation of African Unity was established and Africa Day is celebrated today across the country and the continent.

The theme for this year is: Building a better Africa and a Better World". Premier David Makhura and the African Diaspora will be celebrating in Yeoville - where a large ex-pat community has settled in Johannesburg.
