High level government intervention in Vuwani

The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Des van Rooyen led a delegation to Tohoyandou in Limpopo late on Thursday to meet with community leaders over their anger about a newly established municipality in Vuwani. Various schools have been torched while 12 community members have been arrested since Monday. Residents are adamant that they want to have their own municipality and have torched various schools in the area since Monday.
