Horse trapped in inspection hole rescued in Tembisa

Netcare 911, SPCA officials along with the Police Search and Rescue Unit in Kempton Park came together to rescue a horse that had fallen into an inspection hole in Tembisa on Tuesday morning. According to reports, a concrete chainsaw, a generator, a TLB tractor and a jack hammer were amongst the equipment used to free the horse. The horse was freed after 4 hours and taken away by The Society For Animals In Distress for further medical care.
