Rhodes student tells of police confrontation
Updated | By
A student at the Rhodes University has described clashes between police and students as the “most horrific experience”. Protests broke out on campus after a list of alleged sexual offenders was posted on Facebook on Sunday night. Second year psychology student Nike Mes says police have targeted students for taking a stance against rape. She says police have fired teargas and rubber bullets in an attempts to disperse crowds.
