Updated | By Faith Daniels
EFF MP’s were kicked out of the National Assembly last night – and literally dragged onto the steps of the house. Blows between security forces and the MP’s were traded while screams rang out.

The chaotic scenes played out in full view of the media.
The precinct was on lockdown, with additional forces and the military surrounding it.
The EFF’s Commander In Chief, Julius Malema, says the party will not stand by and watch president Jacob Zuma being defended by members of parliament, while he has violated his oath of office.
DA MP’s also left the house.
The party wants the presiding officers to account for the chaos which ensued.
It now wants to pursue legal action.
Party leader Mmusi Maimane described parliament as a broken institution, where assembly speaker Baleka Mbete solely acts in the interest of president Jacob Zuma and not the people of the country.
