Zuma addresses ANC supporters after chaotic SONA
Updated | By Samkelo Maseko
After the violence that marred the State of the Nation Address, President Jacob Zuma made his way to the Grand Parade.
He told thousands of ANC supporters that serious South Africans listened to his speech, while others exposed their real selves.
He also spoke about the issues close to the hearts of many.
"Without land there will be no economic empowerment and, therefore, the issue of land remains an issue. This is what we need to discuss in the structures of the ANC and unite behind that vision," said Zuma.
Zuma seemed unfazed about the events that happened in the National Assembly moments earlier.
"Those who are not serious about the country, they don't care about listening. They expose themselves of who they are. Thank you very much for coming in your numbers to be here," said Zuma.

With that the president left the stage - and the venue.
