Baboon spotted in Johannesburg

Neighbourhood groups in Johannesburg have been alerted of a baboon roaming around Johannesburg.
A few months ago, Kataza, the baboon from the Cape Peninsula are,a made headlines in Cape Town.
However, another baboon, assumed to be male, has been spotted in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg and authories are warning residents on the way forward.

The Parktown North Ratepayers’ & Residents’ Association advised to place kids and pets indoors as a precaution and to send a pin and time of sighting to the Community Lead Animal Welfare group on 076 850 4466.
