Miss South Africa 2019 Zozibini Tunzi wins Miss Universe! What fantastic news!
Earlier this year, South Africans were overjoyed by Tunzi's win, hailing her as a role-model for natural African beauty.
On Sunday (Monday morning local time), 90 Miss Universe finalists graced the stage with Steve Harvey as host.

South Africa, Mexico, and Puerto Rico were the finalists, and the three women faced off for the crown as the evening came to a close.
Our very own Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi was named the winner.
Tunzi is the third winner from South Africa to take the crown. In 1978, Margaret Gardiner was the first-ever Miss South Africa to take the Miss Universe title. Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was the second winner in 2017.
