Netflix price increase: This is what you’ll pay now
Have you been binging on the new series options on Netflix?
One such movie, a modern-day, rainbow nation South African movie, 'Angeliena', premiered on Netflix, worldwide, on Friday, 8 October 2021.
The star-studded cast follows the journey of a formerly homeless parking attendant, the colourful 'Angeliena', who is diagnosed with a fatal disease and dares to put her lifelong dream of travelling the world into motion.

However, for those keen to watch, Netflix is implementing a price hike.
The standard plan will see an increase of R20. The new price will be R159,00 per month.
Netflix Premium will increase by R30.The new subscription will be R199,00 per month.

Netflix said: "We are updating our prices for the first time in South Africa to reflect the improvements in our film and show catalog and the quality of our service – and, most importantly, so that we can continue to offer more options and ever-increasing value. We have a range of plans so people can choose the one that’s right for them."
