"Politicians are the masters in the art of misdirection" - Vusi Thembekwayo

His voice has echoed through the walls of many different industries, but a few days ago, Thembekwayo took to social media to express his outrage.
He says: "They (the business pictured in Thembekwayo’s video) had about 200 people on that third floor. They've retrenched not only those 200 but 500 the country over and it is off the back, clearly, of COVID but more importantly off the back of what has been economic mismanagement of the past 26 years in South Africa.”
The businessman did not mince his words when he publicly called on President Cyril Ramaphosa to end the lockdown.

4 July 2020 marked a hundred days since the national lockdown started and the business sector has been hit hard.
The businessman joined Breakfast with Martin Bester on 7 July 2020.
Thembekwayo told Martin Bester: 'The politician game plan was millions of jobs lost. They would have blamed everything on lockdown. What killed businesses was bad management."
