Popular Boksburg nightclub goes up in flames
Two employees from a popular Boksburg nightclub were rushed to hospital after a fire started.
On Saturday, 10 September 2022, a fire broke out at the popular Boksburg nightclub, Presley's.
At this time, it is still unknown what caused the fire, but investigations are underway. Two staff members were also rushed to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

According to Darren Foxcroft, an employee at Presley's nightclub, the fire started at about 18h50.
"I was busy counting stock, and if no one came to me and told me the place was on fire, I wouldn't even have known the place was falling apart.
"From the moment we realised that the place [the club] was on fire to the moment it was on the ground was not more than 10 minutes."

Two separate parts of the club, Monroe's and The Gay Club, were destroyed, and Presley's itself was partially damaged.
