Proe’toria is back and has just announced that they will be adding the music sensation Demi Lee Moore to their lineup which already includes some of South Africa’s biggest artists. Demi Lee Moore will be joining artists such as Jo Black, Karen Zoid, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Riana Nel, Refentse, Early B, Martin Bester, Janie Bay and many more.

“We secured Demi Lee Moore a while ago and decided to add her as a surprise element for festival-goers,” said Leon Pheiffer, owner of Monte de Dios and the EPH Group, and organiser of this popular festival.

Moore’s latest album, 'Jy Ken My Naam', was recently released and the music video of one of the singles, 'Wie Se Hart Breek Jy Vanaand', already enjoyed 922 370 views in three months.

Demi Lee Moore won 'Die Kontrak' - a reality talent competition presented by Coleske Artists and VIA channel - in 2018.

Delightful scents and sounds will meet hungry festival-goers on Saturday, 5 and Sunday, 6 March 2022 this year when the ever-popular Proe’toria is presented at Monte De Dios.

Artists are ready to spoil festival-goers with their music as they are for the first time able to perform to bigger crowds now since the outbreak of Covid-19 in 2020.

Proe’toria caters for the whole family with a kids area that definitely show-off - from a Fuffy slide, swings, Ferris wheel, giant wave slide, a foam pit, pillow bash and many more activities will be offered.

The popular Jacaranda FM personality, Thabiso Khambule, is the weekend’s host and various prizes will be given away to the lucky festival-goers.

“We were looking forward to festivals taking place again and can not wait to get on Proe'toria’s stage,” said Pierre Greeff, of Die Heuwels Fantasties.

According to Leon Pheiffer, owner of Monte de Dios and the EPH Group, they are delighted that this festival can continue again, after several postponements.

“We have been waiting for two years to present Proe'toria again and are now working very hard to give people an incredible experience. Together with the artists, we are grateful to generate income for them again,” he said.

More than 40 unique stalls from suppliers across the country attend Proe’toria and this year is no exception.

Festival-goers will also be able to spoil their taste buds with several boutique spoils from the main sponsor, Whitley Neill Handcrafted Dry Gin, which will be available. 

A wine garden and beer tent where various types of wine and beer can be tasted will also be one of the highlights of this festival this year.

Proe’toria is being presented for the fifth time this year and for the first time since 2019 after Covid-19 overturned all arrangements for two consecutive years.

On Saturday, March 5, festive times are from 10:00 to 19:00 and gates close at 21:00. On Sunday, March 6, festive times are from 10:00 - 17:00 and gates close at 18:00.

Tickets are already selling fast with limited VIP packages available at a discounted price. This package includes VIP access, VIP parking, lunch, water and a bottle of wine. Breakfast with Martin Bester will give away two double VIP tickets (four tickets in total, two couples).
