Riana Nel performed on Breakfast with Martin Bester for Friday Live - but she did not expect this surprise!

Singer Riana Nel joined Martin Bester for a special Friday Live performance.
Amongst other things, Nel was in studio to talk about her brand new album, 'Sterkter.'

The album and her brand new song, 'Hou Die Hemel Oop', have inspired South Africans all around the country.

However, there was one specific fan who was really inspired by this song.
Etmaal van Jaarsveld, who suffers from an eye condition, said the song made him cry - and inspired him to paint a portrait of Riana Nel.
"I can barely see - but I squint when I paint," he told Martin Bester.
