South Africans divided over alcohol sales at petrol stations

What are your thoughts on buying alcohol at petrol stations?

According to Jacaranda FM News, The Southern African Alcohol Policy Alliance in SA (SAAPA SA) wants government to issue a moratorium on the issuing of licenses that allow alcohol to be sold at petrol stations.
The reaction follows after a petrol station and its forecourt shop partner were awarded a Grocer’s License, which means the petrol station will legally be allowed to sell alcohol.

Director of SAAPA SA, Maurice Smithers, says the move is in violation of the national Liquor Policy and the National Liquor Amendment Bill. Listen to Smithers here.
