'Squid Game' fans get excited! Netflix confirms second season!

Netflix has announced that 'Squid Game' will indeed return for a second season! Read more below!

On Sunday, Netflix announced that there will indeed be a second season of the popular South Korean show, 'Squid Game'.
Director, writer, and executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk said in a letter to fans: "The Front Man returns. Season 2 is coming."

"The frontman" Seong Gi-hun was the main protagonist in the first season of 'Squid Game'.
The first season follows Gi-hun, a divorced gambler, who enters a competition in the hopes of winning a big cash prize. This competition sees contestants who are desperately in need of money compete in deadly children's games in the hopes of winning the ultimate cash prize.

'Squid Game' was Netflix's first Korean series to reach No. 1 in the United States. According to Netflix, 'Squid Game' attracted 1.65-billion hours of viewing in the 28 days following its release, marking it as the streaming giant's biggest series launch ever.
