Wife talks to Martin Bester about night husband was arrested for breaking curfew
The man who was arrested for being out past curfew to buy baby formula will be seeking financial reparations from the police officer who arrested him.
Naas le Roux was arrested on January 7 for breaking the evening curfew rule because he had to go and buy formula milk for his newborn baby.
Afriforum's private prosecution unit - along with the family lawyer- announced on Monday that le Roux will lodge a civil complaint against the officer and relevant parties.
Le Roux Family lawyer, Lily Rautenbach, says they will also file a formal complaint to the police commissioner.

Natasha le Roux joins Martin Bester on Jacaranda FM to explain what happened the night of the incident.
"Late in the evening we realised that my milk dried up and the baby had to be fed. Naas was then arrested near our house and I had to go to the scene as well."
