Tips on what to wear this Jacaranda Day

Time out with friends and family, music and loads of fun usually includes selfies. Here's how to dress to impress for that Jacaranda Day selfie.

• If you have more than one pair of jeans to choose from, wear the one with the biggest/most pockets. Pockets are always great to have because you will be able to skip the purse, and put your phone and money in your pants.

• Dress comfortably. Comfortable clothing will help when you're dancing.

• Don't wear dungarees or jumpsuits because having to take off your entire outfit to use a porta-potty could get very uncomfortable and awkward.

• The venue is quite large, so you'll have to do a lot of walking. Wear comfortable shoes that won't fall apart and that will protect your feet in case someone stomps on you.
• Don't forget to pack it your sunnies!

• Be sure to bring a pair of leggings, a hoodie, or anything to keep you warm. That way, you’ll be covered for any sort of surprises.
