There are a few ways you can help your relationship’s intimacy while juggling everything else. The following are five things you can start implementing to better the intimacy in your relationship.

  • Keep the bedroom sacred

This just might be the most arguable one yet, but keep your kids away from your bedroom to allow space for you and your partner. Have them in your bedroom every once in a while. Also don’t have electronics in the bedroom or anything that would take time from your intimacy.

Utilise the time before your kids wake up or after they go to bed

Sometimes intimacy requires a quiet time of nothing but cuddles and just a moment to connect and affirm your partner. The time the kids are sleeping is perfect for all of that.

  • Have more quickies

Exciting moments are what keeps the spark alive and if you make sexy time a habit, it gives the relationship both the thrill and something only you and your partner can keep to yourselves.

  • Shower together

Instead of hitting the shower just in time for work or just getting ready to do other things, use this time to share with your partner to do just about anything possible in the shower. This is an excuse for the kids not to come in.

  • Turn vacations into sexcations

This is when you intentionally set time for both you and your partner to have time to yourselves. The importance of a nanny comes into play or have your loved ones take over parenting duties while you are away.
