Megan Fox details the pain of dealing with a miscarriage
Megan Fox has opened up about a very painful time in her life.
About 10 to 20 of every 100 pregnancies end in miscarriage, states Mayo Clinic. The clinic says the percentage might even be higher because some miscarriages happen without the woman realising she is pregnant.
The cause of miscarriage is not always known, so it is not always possible to prevent a miscarriage.
However, according to Mayo Clinic, some of the risk factors include; being older than age 35, if you've had one or more prior miscarriages, having uncontrolled diabetes, suffering from uterine or cervical problems, smoking, alcohol abuse, caffeine, illegal drugs, being underweight or being overweight, and genetic conditions.
Suffering a miscarriage is one of the most devastating things a woman can go through.
Recently, American actress Megan Fox revealed in her book that she suffered a miscarriage alongside fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker.

She detailed how painful the experience was.
"I’ve never been through anything like that in my life," she told Good Morning America.
The mother of three says the miscarriage affected their relationship.
"I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately…trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’” she shared.

Megan released her book, 'Pretty Boys Are Poisonous', on November 7.
It is a collection of poems where she speaks about her experiences.
“These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence. I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins. My freedom lives in these pages, and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness,” Fox said in a quote posted on Amazon.
