Surprising ways to keep your jeans in top shape

This expert advice on how to ensure the best care for your jeans will surprise you.
All of us have that pair of jeans we feel we can’t live without. It looks good, feels comfortable and is uber stylish. While we might want to keep it for years, this is not always possible.
We’ve all felt the disappointment of that favourite pair of jeans getting ripped or losing its colour.
So, what is the best way to care for your jeans?
According to the experts, you should stay away from washing your jeans and should instead freeze them once a month. Wait, what?!
According to fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger and Levi’s CEO Chip Bergh, not washing your jeans preserves their colour and shape. Hilfiger says if you really want to wash them, at least do it only after wearing them for months. Berg, on the other hand, says he goes for a year without washing his Levi jeans.
To keep them from smelling dank, they advise spraying white vinegar or vodka on them and then letting them dry out.
And as if that advice is not strange enough, another weird tip is to freeze your jeans once a month. This apparently kills off the smell caused by bacteria.
