TikTok user @Hezy_Helps Mama is a licensed therapist. She recently posted a video on the platform sharing her concerns with the trending scary filter most kids are using on kids.
WATCH: Mothers always know best
The filter is being used as a prank on kids to see how they react when the ghost appears on the phone screen. Although it is made for laughs, the professional does not find it humorous.
The #ghostprank has been viewed 165-million times on the platform. In these videos, kids are placed in front of the phone and suddenly a blue ghost with red eyes appears on the screen, with the reaction is recorded.
Dealing with gaslighting in a relationship
She expressed that having worked with traumatised kids, parents should not intentionally scare their kids in such a manner as it would result in sleepless nights.
