According to multiple health sites, cabbage is one of the greatest vegetables because of how rich it is in health benefits. 

Medical News Today states that 'the fiber and water content in cabbage also help to prevent constipation and maintain a healthy digestive tract.'

- Cabbage is packed with antioxidants - vitamin C, manganese and has plant chemicals called phytonutrients, a cell-protecting force.

- It helps ease inflammation.  

- It helps with digestion. 

- Cabbage contains fiber which take longer to digest, making you feel full longer on fewer calories.

- It lowers bad (LDL) cholesterol.

- It controls blood sugar.

- Its nutrients help keep the lining of your stomach and intestines strong.
