Dolly Parton announces cookbook
Dolly Parton has become the latest celebrity to release a cookbook. She made the announcement on Wednesday.
Dolly Parton has a new book out!
The country star took to Instagram to announce her latest release - Good Lookin' Cookin'.
The 78-year-old is leading her fans into her kitchen by sharing her favourite recipes.
She announced that she co-authored her book with retired American singer and actress Rachel Parton George.
The book will be available for purchase in September.

"Well, what’s cookin’, good lookin’? It’s our new cookbook! I wrote this book with my sister, Rachel, who might just be the best cook I know," Dolly said on Instagram.
"If you’re like us, you believe that good food and good times are the next best thing to pure love. So take a journey with us, into the kitchen. #GoodLookinCookin hits bookstores September 17th!" she added.
The book announcement comes a month after Dolly released 'Rockstar Deluxe’, which features four never-released songs.
The project was released on 19 January 2024 when she celebrated her 78th birthday.
“Hey fans and friends, It’s my birthday so I’m going to give you a present!” she announced on Instagram.
"Surprise! Stream ‘Rockstar Deluxe’ wherever you get your music," she added.
The singer said the deluxe album features four new songs and others that she had previously done, but were not on 'Rockstar'.
“I’m releasing four never-released songs for my birthday, to go with the Rockstar album, and a few others that you may have heard before that were not on the album.
"I hope you enjoy them, and I hope you all have a happy birthday for me! LOL.”
