The 20th BET Awards took place on June 28, 2020. 

Performers on the night included Jennifer Hudson, Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, and Usher. 

South African star Nomzamo Mbatha was one of the presenters.

Beyoncé was honoured with the annual Humanitarian Award. This was in recognition of her ongoing philanthropic efforts.
