Lily Allen on abortions: 'I can't remember exactly how many'
Updated | By Music Reporter
The English singer's latest admission has sparked outrage online.

Lily Allen has received backlash on social media after revealing that she “can't remember” how many abortions she has had over the years.
Allen, who is a mother of two, made the shocking revelation on a recent episode of her podcast, 'Miss Me?'.
The 'Smile' singer and her co-host, Miquita Oliver, discussed contraception on an episode titled, ‘Listen B****! Coitus Interruptus’.
"Abortions, I've had a few. But then again, I can't remember exactly how many,” she said. “I think maybe like, I want to say four or five."
Oliver replies that she has "had about five too" and is glad they can share their experience without anyone shooting them down.
A caller asked the hosts how old they were when they started using contraceptives such as the pill and an intrauterine device (IUD). The caller revealed that she started at 14.
Allen shared another shocking revelation.
“I have an IUD now, I think I'm on my third, maybe fourth, and I just remember before that was a complete disaster area. Yeah, I would get pregnant like all the time," the 40-year-old said.
“I remember once getting pregnant and the man paying for my abortion, and me thinking it was so romantic.”
Oliver replied: "I actually think it is romantic."
Allen says, looking back on the situation, she realises that it wasn't very generous or romantic.

Allen's comments sparked outrage online. Many people slammed the singer, accusing her of using abortion as a contraceptive.
"I am and always will be pro-choice, however, to use this as a contraceptive and to talk about getting abortions like getting your hair cut is disgusting," one X user said.
"I'm not anti abortion, but these 2... talking about using abortion as contraception makes me feel physically sick," another user commented.
Some also criticised Allen and Oliver for laughing about their abortions as if it were a joke.
"She really will do anything for the publicity. Abortion is not something to joke about."
