Taylor Swift is officially the queen of the Billboard Country Albums chart. The 32-year-old is the only female artist in history to spend 99 weeks at number one on the chart.

Shania Twain held the previous record with 96 weeks at #1. The 56-year-old congratulated Taylor for beating her record.

"Let’s Go Girls!!!! Proud of you  @taylorswift13. Historical records are meant to be made and then broken. The baton is meant to be passed on to new generations. Unstoppable young female country artists are inspite of the hurdles #trailblazers," she tweeted.

Taylor returned to the country charts last year after she re-recorded new versions of her 'Fearless' and 'Red' albums.

'Red (Taylor's Version)' broke several records when it was released in November 2021. Twenty-six songs from the album simultaneously charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

The album helped Taylor claim her 10th number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Taylor is hot on the heels of another album record.

Barbra Streisand currently holds the record with 11 number one albums.
