An Mpumalanga traffic officer arrested for rhino poaching is expected to appear in the Skukuza Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old traffic officer was out on bail for a separate case of rhino poaching, when he was re-arrested on Saturday, the Hawks confirm.
Hawks spokesperson Dineo Sekgotodi says the traffic officer stationed at Mkhuhlu Traffic Station used the access card of a Kruger National Park field ranger to enter the park.
"He was arrested while trying to leave the Kruger National Park under false pretence using the permit of a ranger," Sekgotodi confirmed.
Secret Mgwenya was initially arrested in October.
"One of his bail conditions were that he must not set foot in any game farm especially the Kruger National Park."
A total of 1175 rhino were poached in South Africa in 2015.
